Training doesn't stop when the temperature rises, but your strategy must change to ensure safety and performance.
Hydration Strategy
In the UAE summer, water alone isn't enough. Young athletes lose vital electrolytes through sweat. We recommend a "Pre-During-Post" hydration routine:
- Pre-Training: 500ml of water 2 hours before the session.
- During: Small sips of electrolyte drinks every 15 minutes.
- Post-Training: Rehydrate to replace lost fluid weight.
Acclimatization
Our indoor facilities at Baseline Sports Academy and Star International School allow us to maintain high intensity without heat stress. However, we also conduct controlled outdoor sessions in the evenings to help bodies adapt safely to match conditions.
