A Confident First Step Into Cricket
The Desert Cubs Beginner Plastic Ball Squad at SES is designed for children who are starting cricket or still building their basic skills. Sessions introduce batting, bowling, catching, movement, teamwork and session discipline through age-appropriate drills. Coaches monitor each child and recommend progression when the player is ready for the next squad.
Plastic-ball coaching provides a safer entry format for new players while they learn the movements, awareness and habits that support future hard-ball progression.

The SES branch gives junior and senior players access to a natural grass cricket environment with centre turf pitches, practice nets and floodlit training. The facility supports structured coaching, team preparation, centre-wicket sessions, practice matches, tournaments and cricket events.
